The full portal luffing slewing crane, or “Mohr crane” for short, built by the Mannheim machine factory Mohr & Federhaff AG in 1962 stands as a landmark on the waterfront. The crane, which can also be used very flexibly for two cargo ships at the same time, is an important symbol for the steadily increasing handling capacity from 1964 onwards. In addition to the "Wahrschauplatz" at the railway bridge and the "Platz unter Bäume" at the Hafenhaus, the crane is also part of the light productions of the port, it marks the portal of the Prussian port
