Auenlandweg Trailhead Parking

Not far from the first small parking lot is this slightly larger hiking car park at the beginning of the Auenlandweg. 😊

The AUENLANDWEG takes you into a magical world. On the 3 km long circular path you can discover many carved wooden figures that are reminiscent of the fantastic mythical creatures from the novels of J.R.R. Tolkien. Wizards, dwarves and tree people await you on the Auenlandweg. You will hike through mystical forests, over narrow paths above the Sieg and along wide meadow landscapes in a world of adventure. Above the Sieg a little caution is required, the narrow paths can be slippery when it rains.

If you are unsuccessful in the previous small parking lot, this second parking lot offers additional parking spaces.
You just have to follow the road straight ahead.
It is also very close to the Auenlandweg.
