The source pond of the Seven Springs is located south of Eschenlohe in the Loisach Valley on the north-eastern edge of the Pfrühlmoos, a chain of moors. There are several strong spring surges in the spring pond, which can pour a total of over 1000 l/s. The sulphate content of the water indicates contact with Raibler strata containing gypsum. The sulfur bacteria indicate biological sulphate degradation, see the bright edges around the springs in the spring pond in the pictures. Based on Wikipedia
