Wonderful trail with easy climbing to the Schartenkopf, partly secured with a wire rope, above a fantastic view of Garmisch, the Zugspitze and the Wetterstein Mountains. Because of the steeper ascent, it is quieter and less traveled than the ascent to Laber over the Soilesee. Easily accessible on foot from the train station in Oberammergau.
