"Eating fruit is a fine (and healthy) thing. Running fruit is too. Promised! At least that's true for Leverkusen. Here there is the fruit trail, which aims to contribute to the preservation of orchards. Orchards are becoming increasingly rare. Information boards provide the essentials. Up to 5,000 animal and plant species are at home in orchards. The rare animal species that live here include the little owl, dormouse and hazel dormouse.
