An antique ship's anchor from the 18th century is located in the Havenpark, the filled-in Oude Haven. This stock anchor, an anchor with a cross beam at the top of the shaft, was fished off the coast of Schouwen in 1970 and was offered by mussel fishermen J. Schot BW zn and W.C. Scot BW son from Zierikzee.
After the redevelopment of the Havenpark in 2016, extensive maintenance was carried out on the anchor and placed in its current location.
