Refuge de Capanelle

Located at 1,586 meters above sea level, near a road, the refuge owes its name to an old sheepfold. At the foot of Monte Renosu, the cottage is relatively well equipped and has a bar-restaurant.

Nice campground where a bit more people find a vacancy (ski slope), beds are also available. Has hot showers and a very well-equipped shop (bread, sausage, cheese, gas cartridges, blister plaster, toilet paper, etc.). Restaurant also has good food. There are power outlets to charge your cellphone. At one point you have cell phone reception. Connection to the street if you can not anymore. There is also a lounge where everyone can cook

Was here in early October and of course everything is a bit limited. Still well equipped. Campsites are good, showers warm and the lady in the refuge friendly.
