A paralytic carpenter from Heinersreuth bought around 1715, on the occasion of a pilgrimage, a portrait on the market in Gößweinstein called "Maria zum Heiligen Blut", which allegedly came from Bohemia and which he planted in a hollow pine tree in his home area, where the church now stands. seated and highly revered.
