"... The wildlife park Rolandeck is located 10 km south of Bonn on the Rhine, above the Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck with a great panorama of the Rhine and the Siebengebirge.
The wildlife park covers an area of around 350,000 m² in a hilly, partly ravine landscape. It is largely natural, with old trees and wild grazing areas laid out in them. The hiking trails are unpaved, sometimes bumpy and should be walked with caution on sloping sections.
You can see native wild animals such as red deer, fallow deer, mouflon, wild boar and some domestic breeds such as sheep, goats, donkeys, ponies, highland cattle and rabbits.
The animals live largely under natural conditions on extensive areas with the possibility of retreat in more remote resting areas.
Wild boar and highland cattle are separated by fences, the other wild species can be observed freely from the hiking trails. ..."
