Hiking

The natural pools in the Wendelsteinbach run down to the waterfall. These puddle-shaped potholes, which are referred to as Gumpen, are literally washed out by the mountain stream in the rocky underground of the streambed. When the sun shines on it, the pumps in the most splendid hues shimmer from green to blue.

A beautiful waterfall with benches and a shelter. A lovely place for a rest and a chance to wade through the cool water. It's also a very popular photo opportunity. At the end of the meadow, there's also a small water fountain for refreshment or something for kids to do ;).
