The Hindenburg Bridge was a railway bridge over the Rhine between Rüdesheim am Rhein and Bingen-Kempten, named after Field Marshal General and later President Paul von Hindenburg since 1918. The bridge, which was commissioned on September 1, 1915 [2], was destroyed in World War II and was not rebuilt afterwards.

Since 2002 the remains of the Hindenburg Bridge have formed the easternmost point of the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley.
