This stand mill has been moved twice: the first time within Meijel (1801) and then from Meijel to Kessel (1878). Many elements in this magnificent, restored mill contain inscriptions. The oldest are from the year 1800.
This mill sometimes turns on Wednesday and Saturday lunchtimes. There you can chat with the miller and see how grain is ground in an artisanal way. In the shop at the bottom of the mill you can buy fresh produce, from wholemeal and wheat flour to spelled pancake mix.
