  • The Nornenbrunnen is a fountain in the center of Munich. It was built in 1907 in the Art Nouveau style based on a design by Hubert Netzer. The fountain made of Kirchheimer Muschelkalk shows the Norns, the three Germanic women of fate Urd, Verdandi and Skuld, leaning on a large water bowl. Between the figures are three mouths from which the water pours into three shallow basins on the ground. Source and further information
