Right hand of the city park, separated only by the Frederiksborgvej and a small, typically Danish district, lies the Volkspark. In this park, small lakes are embedded in the lawn, on the edge of which can be enjoyed an excellent sunbathing, while only a few meters further large and small trees donate soothing shade and invite you to a picnic. At the top of Volkspark, a large amphitheater clings to the hillside, where the Roskilde commune offers the best entertainment for the little ones every Thursday during the summer months.Source: VisitRoskilde info@visitroskilde.dk
