The whole of the Parkland Walk is used by the Capital Ring, so if you wish you can extend your walk at each end by continuing along that: eastwards through Finsbury Park or westwards via Queen's Wood and Highgate Wood.

The Parkland Walk is London's longest nature reserve and is home to more than 200 species of wildflowers, as well as hedgehogs, foxes, butterflies, many species of birds and a rare species of deer, muntjac, which can be observed occasionally.

Parkland Walk follows the course of the old railway that ran between Finsbury Park and Alexandra Palace. It's a relaxing and shaded route, with lots of street art and perfect for practising trail running or cycling in London.
