Hiking

The electrically driven turntable dates from 1929 and was a shunting solution, because now the locomotives could easily change tracks in the limited space in front of the workshop. In 1937 a special hall was added to the turntable for the repair of locomotives: De Polygonale Loods. The name of the Polygonale Loods in Tilburg refers to the polygonal design of the space in which railway material was stored and repaired. The building has now been converted into a food center.
