    Hiking

Curleywee translates to 'Hill in the Wind' as it's believed to come from the Scottish Gaelic 'Cor Le Gaeith'. The 2,211-foot (674 m) hill in the Scottish Southern Uplands has a really nice profile when observed from the west/southwest over on Lamachan Hill and Larg Hill. If approaching Curleywee via the Bennanbrack ridge in poor weather, a series of iron fence posts mark the way.
