Unfortunately, the summit is somewhat obstructed by a large number of antennas. The ascent takes place over a sometimes very steep road, which is why there are many motorized visitors at the top.

At its summit you will find the “Santuario de la Virgen del Toro”, a sanctuary with a carved wooden statue dedicated to the Virgin Mary, the patron saint of Menorca. Built in 1670 on top of a Gothic church, the sanctuary takes its name from a legend according to which a bull (Spanish: toro) helped monks discover the figure of the Madonna.
