    Rowsden estate is another name for **Rousdon Estate**, a large estate on the coast of Dorset, England. The estate was built in 1874 by Sir Henry Peek, a wealthy merchant and politician, who built an imposing country house, church, school and farm. In 1937 the estate was bought by the Allhallows School, a prestigious boarding school, which remained there until 1998. Since then, the estate has been divided into several residences and holiday homes, which are managed by a company set up by the owners. The estate has 350 hectares of land and 104 homes, and offers stunning views of the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site.
