If you turn right above the chairlift mountain station, you will first come to a viewing point with a view of Lake Wildensee. From here a narrow path leads up towards the ski slope. The path runs below the Kranzberg summit, crosses the ski slope, then meets the path from Wildensee and continues to the summit. I personally liked this path better than the wide gravel path to the summit.
