Banana plantations as far as the eye can see. A fantastic hiking trail leads through here, surrounded by beautiful nature. Highly recommended and interesting at the same time.

Hiking

There are numerous banana plantations here and you can get an impression of how this fruit grows as you walk past it before it is in our supermarket (or on site at the hotel buffet). The systems with sun protection tarpaulins, ropes and poles to support the banana palms, but especially the palm trees themselves with their blossoms and perennials, are worth a closer look. At least we thought so. :-)
