Wonderful evening hike to the eye of Los Gigantes, but the path there is not that easy. Only the path via the "ostrich farm" south of Taimano is legal, the path to the cross is closed due to the risk of rockfall, and the path north and then above the Baranco is closed from February to August due to bird breeding.

So either ignore the rockfall or go south to the farm, the path there is not great and you pray that the chain on the dog's neck holds at the farm. But then ... pure adventure. At the top of the ridge keep right, climb a bit and you're there. Good shoes and a desire for adventure are a must.

A rocky passage with some dangerous stages leads to this window in the rock. But once you get to the window, you're rewarded with a great view of the south-west coast and the Atlantic.

        Magnificent view

However, you must have very good shoes and not be afraid of heights, there are several very tricky passages.
