Here the cycle path changes the Elbseite. Interesting old bridge with beautiful view.

Proper name would be Tyrš Bridge

        About history:
The iron bridge with 70 thousand rivets replaced Empress Elisabeth's chain bridge in 1993. This chain bridge was built in 1855 because Děčín urgently needed a reliable connection with Bodenbach on the left bank, which led to the railway line from Prague to Dresden (completed in 1855). With the arrival of automobile traffic, the Chain Bridge was no longer sufficient in terms of technology and capacity. For economic reasons, a variant was chosen during the reconstruction, in which the chain construction was replaced by a modern iron construction on the modified piers of the original bridge. The joint-stock company Škodovy závody in Plzeň won the construction contract in a public competition. The construction was carried out more or less without disruption to traffic. The actual relocation to the final position took place on December 9, 1933. Traffic was stopped at 8 a.m. and the bridge was moved and set within four hours with the help of winds in a frost of -16°C. The bridge was officially opened and put into operation on the same day. She was named after Děčín citizen Dr. Called Miroslav Tyrš. At the time of its opening, the bridge was the largest of its kind in Czechoslovakia.
