Tips
A dream for cyclists ... on good asphalt it goes straight through the southern part of the national park. The road is closed to motorized traffic. However, there are some very large potholes on the route, which you can easily avoid if you spot them in good time. The ascent from Dedenborn is very steep.

Coming from Dedenborn, you are at an altitude of about 300 m, it goes steeply uphill at 8-10% through the forest, then only slightly uphill until Rothe Kreuz or the main road, where you have reached an altitude of just over 600 m. Well asphalted throughout, fantastic, car-free through the forest.
