Watermill Ladeuze on the Maarkebeek, already mentioned in 1571 although probably already existing before 1500. Former corn and oil mill formerly dependent on the now disappeared nearby manor castle of Ladeuze. Placement of a steam engine in 1909 in a small extension against the front facade. Reportedly oil production stopped around the First World War. Grain mill removed in the period 1960-1970. In use as a residence since 1975. (Inventory of Immovable Heritage)

Hiking

A corn and oil water mill from before 1500. It was originally a 'banmolen' where tenant farmers were obliged to have their grain milled and to give a 'tithe'. From 1830 onwards it was an oil hammer mill that was still in operation until the 1970s. In 1909 a steam engine was installed.

Cycling

A former corn and oil mill, owned by the lords of Ladeuze, who had their castle a little further upstream. In 1975, the mill house was converted into a home and the water wheel repaired. The wheel and the stream only serve as a point of interest along the Maarkebeek.
