The beautiful Bagbander Mill dates from 1812 and shows the initials of the founder, Mr. F.J., in the stone above the entrance gate. Bohlen. Renovated, we can still admire the functionality of 2 grain grinding gears, a pelde gear and an oat squeezer when we tour the inside.
Located on the main road between Aurich and Leer in terms of transport, the adjacent Mühlenhof is particularly inviting

The one-story gallery Dutchman in Bagband was built in 1812.
This includes a bakery where Bagbander mill bread is baked. The mill and bakery can be visited on request. Right next door you can try typical East Frisian dishes or drink tea in the “Mühlenhof”. The homemade cake is worth a sin.

The Bagbander mill can be visited and the son of the last miller has a lot of specialist knowledge, which he likes to share with visitors, preferably in Low German.
