Located in the center of the city, there are ten sculptures attributed to Salvador Dalí according to the placed plaques. The sculptures are an extra tourist attraction in Marbella, because the Avenida del Mar has become an open-air museum. The mayor of Marbella insisted that the authenticity of the sculptures be examined by a team of experts. The works are: Nude Woman Climbing the Stairs, Horse with People Stumbling, Mercury; Perseus, Seated Don Quixote, Pregnant Gala, Gala leaning out the window, Trajan on horseback, Man on Dolphin and Cosmic Elephant.
