Maria im Schaeffertal- Notre-Dame du Schaeffertal is a pilgrimage church in the Val du Patre, which should actually be called Val des berger. The Stations of the Cross, which ends at the spring in the clearing, also leads to this place. The shepherds are said to have erected it to thank Mary, who caused the spring to spring up in times of need. It may also have been a druid cult site. The water was said to have healing powers, but now it's better not to drink it.
