The Reformed Church in Greifensee, also known as the St. Gallus Chapel, is a Gothic small town church with the unusual quadrant floor plan and is a listed building.
The fortified church, erected in 1344, was given its ground plan due to its inclusion in the city wall. The facade is dominated by a pointed turret with a tower clock. The interior features a single central pillar that unfolds into a star vault with ornate keystones. The wooden gallery dates from 1638, the baptismal font from 1603 and the rococo-style pulpit from 1780. Bible verses are painted on the inner walls.
If you have time, you can also listen to the history of the church, this takes 15 minutes.
