In the center of the village, we notice the 19th century church in Romano-Byzantine style, a solid construction in granite and local stone, visible well before arriving in the village.
This church owes its originality to Monsieur Bacqua, mayor of the town from 1884 to 1913, a great traveler passionate about architecture. From his travels in Italy, Greece, Turkey and India, he brought back countless photos and sketches, which strongly influenced the construction of this building.
