Charming hamlet, emblematic of common wine-growing villages. Old local stone houses, decorated with bricks, wooden lintels, schist or granite arches and covered with tiles. Linked to the history of the vineyard, whose specialization was reinforced in the middle of the 19th century, they are built on the same model: the ground floor for storing the wine, and the upper floor for housing accessible by an exterior staircase.

The flower-filled hamlet of Pé de Sèvre, with its 17 exterior staircases, is a typical winegrowing village. The old stone houses are all built according to the same model: the ground floor is used for storing wine, and the upper floor is for living.
