Great starting point for hikes! The hut is run by two sisters and you are warmly welcomed. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is delicious and the beer sucks.

The Kenzenhütte is the ideal starting point for mountain tours to the Hochplatte or the Geiselstein. You can go there from Halblech by bus to get enough time for the mountain walks. Absolute highlight is also the food at the hut. The variety and quality of the food offered there is more than recommended.
