Several chutes ensured that the load was evenly distributed on the carts.
Reed sandstone from Heilbronn was one of the most popular building materials in Württemberg and far beyond in the 19th century. It was used to build the Kilian Church in Heilbronn, the statues at Heidelberg Castle, ornaments on the Cologne Cathedral and many train station buildings in Germany and Amsterdam.
