Via Garibaldi has space for many terraces of restaurants and cafes. When you sit down there, you can watch groups of people getting together and chatting about the world and the world. Lots of locals, fewer tourists. The staff radiated more peace, serenity and friendliness. We liked that.
Narrow streets and canals can only be found again when you leave Via Garibaldi through side streets and move towards Arsenale or east towards San Pietro.
