Gloster Meteor F Mk.8 (c/n 6496) flew at Brustem with the 13 Wing and stands as an eye-catcher on the citadel of Dinant. The Meteor carries the registration numbers EG162 K5-K. In January 1958 the Meteor was written off from the Air Force. On 27 August 1958 the aircraft was registered by Cogea nouvelle SA (Ostend) as OO-ARU in the Belgian civil aviation register, on 2 March 1961 it was deleted. In the early 1960s it was given a place on the citadel.
