The parish church surrounded by a wall was built in 1708 by master builder Abraham Millauer in the Baroque style. It was built on the site of a previous building, which was probably already mentioned in 770, although Litzldorf is only documented as Luzlindorf in 849. The church belonged to the original parish of Elbach until 1458 and then to the parish of Au near Aibling. In 1892 it was elevated to the status of a parish church.
