Hiking
The Memorial Forest is a forest where relatives can adopt or plant a tree for a deceased loved one.
The ashes can be scattered in the planting hole of the tree.
It was a private initiative by Jacques Ninaber and Remco van Zeggelaar and was realized with the cooperation of Staatsbosbeheer, the Spaarnwoude recreation authority and the municipality of Haarlemmermeer.
