It is recommended to walk the Teufelsschlucht to the Waldhofbach! And then follow the creek back down or up. In one of the last tours I spontaneously decided to follow the creek up in the evening, because I was slowly getting into the twilight and the slope is turned away from the evening light. I mean the longest of the devil's paths follows the creek down the valley. A few years ago my companion was completely exhausted and sunk in the mud at the creek ..... a bit misjudged with the condition and accelerated too much on the way and uphill .....
