Also called Zionskirchruine or old Zionskirche – a church ruin used by the city of Dresden as a lapidarium.
It was possible to renovate a war-destroyed building to house the fragments that the war had left of old Dresden. In the meantime, all provisional lapidaria have been dissolved and the finds are stored, archived, and scientifically recorded in the Zionskirche. Monuments from more recent times are also kept here or temporarily stored until reuse.
