The Dortmund-Ems Canal Bridge number 9 is the disused ministerial railway bridge Minister Achenbach. It led the former railway line from Dortmund-Mengede to Dortmund-Brambauer over the canal at operating kilometers 7.141. The steel truss bridge operated by the city of Dortmund with a span of 77.40 meters and a width of 5.00 meters was built in 1936. Today it is locked on both sides.
It is not possible to change the side of the river here.
