The Süchtelner waterworks was built on a plot with a particularly suitable water intake in 1907 near today's Butschenweg.

The building complex consists of the former machine house, the container tower and the associated residential building. The machine house contained two gas engines and two double-acting, horizontally lying plunger pumps, which were installed in the lower part of the hall. The hall is divided into four axes parallel to the gable roof and ends in a front gable, which is completed by tower-like superstructures with a square plan to the eaves and gable. The façade surfaces, which are predominantly faced with bricks, include areas made of plaster, the shape of which is very diverse.
Today the waterworks is a residential building.
