The Church of Celles, with its recently restored Romanesque bell tower, is perhaps the only one in Belgium to be dedicated to Saint Madelberte. She was Abbess of Maubeuge. Saint Hubert, bishop of Liège, had the relics of the saint transferred to Liège.
