Built on the route of a railway line so no steep gradients anywhere on the route. Bike hire (including Ebikes) available at each end in Ashbourne and at Parsley Hay. Lots of refreshments in Ashbourne and also a cafe at Parsley Hay. Be aware that the railway slopes gradually downhill from the north to the south so, if doing a return trip, allow enough energy. In particular, if the wind is blowing from the north, the return trip can be much harder than expected. Great scenery.
