Bike Touring Highlight
The mill Anna in Norby is a so-called Gallery Dutch mill. That is, their actual mill construction with rotatable cap and windmill wings stands on a solid substructure with surrounding gallery.
It was built in 1911 and was in operation for a total of 67 years until 1978 (see: The history of the mill Anna). It was acquired by the municipality of Rieseby in 1994 and, in collaboration with the community and the associations, was thoroughly restored over many years and converted into a museum of local history (see: The Museum of Local History).
Since 18/10/1997, the mill Anna was again proud of its full beauty.
