In 2011, the Municipality of Asiago officially donated this sacred piece of land in the heart of Veneto to the Region of Sardinia (note the 3 flags of Italy, Veneto, and Sardinia): now the fallen Sassari soldiers rest, in all respects, on Sardinian territory!
