The tower is well secured and nicely renovated. As Phipo writes, it is certainly no longer a ruin, more of a lookout tower. But worth a visit either way. The mountaineering trail mentioned by Heloks is very slippery, loamy and not recommended in winter (when temperatures are above zero).

The "ruin" has just been renovated and can no longer be described as ruin 🏚. Great view from the tower towards Schlosstal and Töss. Good for a long Sunday walk with children. But sure-footed shoes have to be.
