Hidden above the Elbe, in the hills of the left Elbe valleys in the municipality of Klipphausen, lies the picturesque Batzdorf Castle. On the edge of the small village of Batzdorf, between gardens, orchards and the wooded roe deer valley, you will find the revived gem from the old days. In its long history from 1400, it still presents itself today, lovingly restored by Schloß Batzdorf e.V., in its last major Renaissance building.
