At the beginning of the 1960s, the fruit-growing settlement was built above the old village of Evessen. Here, people who had been displaced during the war were given the opportunity to grow fruit and vegetables on a small piece of land. The number of businesses has decreased, but the businesses that have remained have grown and offer a wide range of fruits and vegetables.
