The most visited museum in the world, the Louvre is located in the heart of Paris in the 1st arrondissement. Its collections, organized into eight departments, cover a chronology dating back to Antiquity. The iconic glass pyramid, which sits in the middle of the square, makes it all the more recognizable.

The glass pyramid in the courtyard of the Louvre is now one of the city's landmarks!
At 21.64 meters high and 35.42 meters wide, it has the same proportions as the Pyramid of Giza.
This is by no means a coincidence, but was planned exactly like this by Mitterrand and
the architect Ieoh Ming Pei.

Very beautiful square with a view of the Louvre museum and its pyramid. Access possible to the Tuileries Garden, the Seine or the rue de Rivoli.
