Alternatively, a detour path has been formed through the forest - but as this is not marked, it is not so easy to find in the dense bushes. Ultimately, however, it increases the fun factor - once you have managed it. If you are not interested in such adventurous interludes, you should know this beforehand so as not to be disappointed. But both the path through the forest along the Maas and the path on the Grote Hegplas side have their own charms and are, in my opinion, worthwhile even if you go back to the main path around Kessenicher Plas.
